PT. Caputra Mitra Sejati is an Indonesian shipyard that builds and repairs steel and aluminium vessels at its yard in Pulo Ampel, Serang, Banten, with a head office in Central Jakarta. Founded in 1971 as a general contractor in civil and mechanical engineering, the company moved into shipbuilding in 1990 and now covers newbuilding, ship repair and refit, including naval architecture, design and modification work. Its newbuild record includes 40 m and 60 m fast patrol boats for the Indonesian Navy, navigation and customs patrol vessels, well testing and snubbing barges, LCTs and a wave-piercing catamaran. Repair work spans tugs, barges, tankers, LCTs, motor vessels, aluminium crew boats and special purpose vessels.

PT. Caputra Mitra Sejati was established in 1971 as a general contractor working in civil and mechanical engineering, adding shipbuilding to its activities in 1990. The company operates a shipyard in the Merak–Serang area of Banten province and states expertise in naval architecture across marine operations, primarily the design and modification of all ship types. It positions itself around quality, cost competitiveness and reliable delivery time, and reports ISO 9001-2008 quality, ISO 45001-2018 health and safety, and ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification, plus a Certificate of Approval from Kemenhan.

  • Slipway with 1,000-ton maximum load capacity, 3 sea railways totalling 160 m, maximum depth 5.4 m
  • Airbag area 130 m x 70 m with 2 x 1,500-ton winches, handling up to 2 x 350 ft barges; sausage air bags Φ1.8 m x 15 m
  • Transfer car 68 m x 12 m with 3 railways and a 62 x 87 m² pool area
