Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. delivered the newly built LNG carrier Puteri Kelantan to Petronas LNG Ltd. on 24 Sep 2026. The vessel was built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd in China and is owned by a joint venture led by K LINE.
The £26m Royal Daffodil made its maiden voyage on the River Mersey on 22 September 2026 after a naming ceremony in Liverpool. Built at Wirral’s Cammell Laird shipyard, now Balaena Birkenhead, the ferry will enter full service after final preparations, with passenger operations expected in early autumn.
Hengli Heavy Industry held the naming ceremony for two 325,000-DWT WinningMax very-large ore carriers for Winning International Group on 30 August 2026. The ships, Winning Genesis and Winning Sincerity, are the first batch of WinningMax-class vessels delivered under a strategic cooperation agreement signed in June 2024.
