Kishorn Port Ltd hosted Scottish Government and Highlands and Islands Enterprise officials for a visit to its port and dry dock. The officials were shown the transformation of the dry dock and reclamation area over the past 14 months, and KPL managing director Alasdair Ferguson said the project is scheduled to finish on time and within budget.
Kishorn Port and Lairg hosted a visit from Northern Lighthouse Board coastal inspectors Jennifer Matthews and Adam Lewis last week. The pair toured the site, including the expanded dry dock and lay-down area, after meeting the port at a conference earlier this year.
Kishorn Port hosted a visit from the UK government’s DESNZ Ports and Offshore Wind team, along with representatives from the British Ports Association and Highlands and Islands Enterprise. The group toured the port site and dry dock and saw phase 1a construction under way.
