Derecktor brings Teakdecking Systems on-site for refit work

Derecktor has brought Teakdecking Systems on-site at its Dania Beach shipyard under a new partnership effective immediately. The arrangement is meant to support refit and repair work with earlier planning, integrated estimating and scheduling, and closer coordination between the yard and the decking specialist.

Derecktor has brought Teakdecking Systems (TDS) on-site at its Dania Beach, Florida, shipyard under a partnership effective immediately.

At the yard, the arrangement is aimed at refit and repair work. TDS is integrated into planning, estimating and scheduling before work begins. Derecktor said the setup is intended to improve coordination, pricing confidence and timelines for owners, captains and management teams.

Teakdecking Systems will operate directly within Derecktor’s facility. Integrated planning is already underway across upcoming projects.
