  COSCO Shipping launches 88,000-cbm LPG dual-fuel VLGC Chang Ping Yuan

  COSCO Shipping has launched the 88,000-cbm LPG dual-fuel very large gas carrier Chang Ping Yuan. The vessel can run on LPG or conventional marine fuel and carries a shaft generator designed to cut emissions. COSCO Shipping did not disclose the shipyard where it was built.

  SAL Heavy Lift signs MOU for five more 14,600 DWT vessels

  SAL Heavy Lift and Wuhu Shipyard signed a memorandum of understanding on 3 September 2026 for five additional 14,600 DWT multipurpose heavy-lift vessels. The deal was announced at SMM 2026 in Hamburg and would extend a partnership that has already delivered the Orca Class series.
