Alimia Shipyards Group has been awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for information security management. The group said the standard covers its operations at Astican, Astander and Astibal and complements its existing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
Astander is part of CAPCO2, a maritime carbon-capture project that has produced a fully functional pilot plant after two years of research and development. The consortium says the system was designed to reproduce ship operating conditions on land and to support later fleet-scale deployment.
