Operating under the Amer Yachts brand, this independent Italian shipyard designs and builds custom motor yachts from 24 to 75 metres in GRP composite, aluminium and steel, with a strong focus on fuel efficiency, low-impact construction and Volvo Penta IPS propulsion. Founded by Fernando Amerio, who started Permare in 1973 and launched Amer Yachts in 1990, the family-run business has delivered over 100 yachts and produces only a few boats each year under direct supervision of the founding family. Alongside new construction it offers refit, repair, maintenance, technical consulting and crew training, plus brokerage of pre-owned yachts and a charter fleet. Yards and service bases are located in Sanremo, Imperia and Pisa, Italy.
