ADRIATIC SHIPYARD S.R.L.
Adriatic Shipyard S.r.l. is a shipyard in Chioggia, near Venice, on Italy's Adriatic coast, operating a historic yard the Ballarin family took over and developed from the 1990s onwards. The company handles new naval construction, refitting, conversions and specialised maintenance for vessels ranging from yachts to workboats up to 100 metres in length and 5,000 tonnes displacement. Work covers design coordination with Italian studios, steel and hull carpentry, piping, mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, surface treatment and interior fit-out, plus non-destructive testing and management of classification paperwork. The yard states it is ISO 9001 certified and carries out more than 80 refit jobs a year; a related yacht brand, Ocean King, is also mentioned.
Adriatic Shipyard S.r.l.
Adriatic Shipyard operates a historic yard at Chioggia, in the heart of the Adriatic a few kilometres from Venice. The business grew out of a Veneto family's move from textiles into the nautical sector in the 1990s — initially as Grady White yacht dealers — before the Ballarin brothers acquired part of the existing Chioggia shipyard. Today the company offers an integrated service from design through to final testing for yachts and work vessels, alongside the Ocean King yacht brand, and states it is ISO 9001 certified with over 80 refit projects a year and more than 60 builds completed.
