Concordia Damen has launched TUI Luzia, the first purpose-built river cruise vessel for TUI River Cruises, at Kladovo Shipyard in Serbia. The 85-metre ship is due for final outfitting in Werkendam and delivery in June 2027.
Concordia Damen marked its 25th anniversary with a drone show during Havendagen Werkendam 2026. The display was created with Dutch Drone Shows and was presented as a tribute to Werkendam’s maritime history.
Concordia Damen said the final two container barges in a six-vessel series, Wye and Curlew, were launched at Scheepswerf Maasbracht on 6 May. The pair has arrived in Werkendam and is due to undergo sea trials later this month before crossing the North Sea to London for Cory Group operations on the River Thames.
