Stevens Towing marks 112 years with 75 tugboat staff, 100 in yard
Stevens Towing said it has operated for 112 years, growing from a Younges Island post office base into a coastal tug and barge business. Johnson Stevens, the fourth generation in the family, said the company now has about 75 people working on tugboats and another 100 in the shipyard.
