Naval Group transferred the nuclear attack submarine Rubis to its launch device on 16 October 2026. The boat is the fifth of six Barracuda programme submarines and was moved from the construction hall in the presence of French armed forces minister Catherine Vautrin.
The M941 Tournai arrived in Zeebruges ahead of its official transfer to the Belgian state on 25 September 2026. The second City-class minehunter for the Belgian Navy is part of the Belgian-Dutch rMCM programme, which covers 12 ships in total.
Naval Group said the French frigate Amiral Ronarc'h has completed a long-duration deployment that took it from the North Atlantic to the Gulf of Mexico. The company said the trial is intended to validate systems, crew performance and interoperability before a first major maintenance stop in Brest between September and December 2026.
