BYLD students tour Grand Bahama Shipyard and learn repair careers
Students from the Bahamas Institute for Youth Leadership Development toured Grand Bahama Shipyard late last month and saw floating drydocks, active repair areas and the work behind vessel repair projects. The visit included talks with employees who began as apprentices and later moved into planning, project management and administrative roles.
