AISTER has finished construction of two MZ12 PILOT pilot boats for Honduras and is carrying out sea trials in the Vigo estuary. The vessels, San Lorenzo and Merendón, are destined for Puerto Henecán and Puerto Cortés under the Honduran flag after final acceptance.
Aister has placed the stern frame on JANOT, the catamaran it is building for Saint Pierre et Miquelon. The yard said the vessel has now reached a major structural milestone and that the name was formally confirmed during a visit by archipelago president Bernard Briand.
AISTER has delivered the Río Odiel, the seventh HS60 interceptor ordered by Spain’s Guardia Civil for its maritime service, SEMAR. The aluminium patrol boat is designed for anti-drug and organised-crime work and is said by the yard to exceed 60 knots with waterjet propulsion.
Aister has won the contract to build and deliver Jeune France II, a hybrid passenger catamaran for the Territorial Collectivity of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon. The aluminium vessel is due for delivery in September 2027 and will replace the current Jeune France on the Saint-Pierre to Langlade route.
Aister has delivered the HS60 interceptor RÍO ANTAS to the Guardia Civil's maritime service in Moaña. It is the sixth unit of the model and the first boat under Aister's third contract for the programme. The vessel will join surveillance, maritime control and anti-drug interdiction duties after final preparations.
Aister has secured an order to build two MZ12 PILOT pilot boats for a customer in a Central American country. The aluminium vessels are due for delivery during 2026 and will be used for pilot transfer in port operations.
