Port Whangarei Marine Centre
Port Whangarei Marine Centre (PWMC) is a full-service haulout and refit boatyard at South Shipyard in the Port of Whangarei, New Zealand, and part of the Oceania Marine Shipyards group. It operates dual travel lifts of 100 tonnes and 560 tonnes with all-tide access, extensive sealed hardstand and undercover refit sheds, and focuses on vessels under 20 metres LOA while larger refits are handled by Oceania Marine. Trades cover painting and coatings, hull and structural repair in alloy and composite, engineering, electrical and mechanical work, delivered by Oceania Marine Refit Services with approved sub-contractors and suppliers. The yard has optimised its lifts and hardstand for sailing catamarans and multihulls, and is widely used by the international cruising fleet stopping in New Zealand over the South Pacific cyclone season.

Port Whangarei Marine Centre (PWMC) is a full-service boatyard for refit and repairs located at South Shipyard in the Port of Whangarei, New Zealand. Part of the Oceania Marine Shipyards group, it was established as a separate business in 2015 as a dedicated travel lift and hardstand operation for smaller vessels, with its first haulout on 6 November 2015. A $7 million Stage II development commissioned a 560-tonne travel lift in November 2022. The yard focuses on efficient, economical service for vessels up to 20 metres LOA, while larger vessels and complex refits are handled by Oceania Marine at the same site. Over one recent summer season it completed more than 150 haul-outs of vessels under 20 metres.
