Mcnational Hartford Illinois Shipyard
National Maintenance & Repair (NMR) is the Hartford, Illinois shipyard of McNational, Inc., located at Upper Mississippi River mile 198.5, about twenty minutes north of St. Louis, Missouri. The yard offers full-service inland river repair with four drydocks sized for all inland river vessels, topside repair berths, machine and fabrication shops, propeller/wheel shop, floating and landside cranes, EPA-approved gas free and cleaning services, and new barge construction. Hartford also houses NMR's Diesel Engine Division, an AAR (M1003) certified diesel engine shop and authorized Wabtec/GE Transportation channel partner that remanufactures and dyno-tests marine and locomotive engines. The site is part of the wider McNational group, which has operated shipyards, harbor boats and fleeting services on the Ohio, Tennessee and Mississippi rivers for over a century.

The Hartford, Illinois facility operates as National Maintenance & Repair, Inc. (NMR), a division of McNational, Inc.
