Astilleros Zamakona Pasaia Shipyard
Astilleros Zamakona Pasaia is a shipbuilding and ship repair yard in the Port of Pasajes (Guipúzcoa), Spain, and part of the Zamakona Yards group. The yard builds new vessels of up to 80 m and carries out repairs, alterations and major conversions, with work performed to the requirements of the main classification societies including Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, RINA, NK, DNV and ABS. Facilities include two building platforms, two dry dock cranes and a floating dock for vessels up to 4,900 tonnes displacement, plus several fitting-out quays. Group-wide services extend to mechanical, electrical, piping, blasting and painting work, offshore support and marine supplies.

Astilleros Zamakona Pasaia is located in the Port of Pasajes (Guipúzcoa, Spain) and its main activity is shipbuilding and ship repair. The yard undertakes new construction, repairs and major alterations, with work carried out under the requirements of leading classification societies such as Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, Registro Italiano Navale, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai, DNV and ABS. It joined the Zamakona Yards group with the acquisition of Astilleros de Pasaia in 2006; the group has more than 40 years of experience on the Cantabrian coast and in the Canary Islands and brings together over 1,000 professionals.

Vessel Types
The wider Zamakona Yards group reports experience with tugs, supply and standby vessels, AHTS and FSVs, live fish carriers, fishing vessels including pelagic trawlers and purse seiners, cargo ships, dredgers, barges, patrol boats, anti-pollution vessels, floating docks and cranes, ro-ro ramps, ferries, yachts and passenger vessels.
