Astillero Río Paraná Sur

Astillero Río Paraná Sur is an Argentine river shipyard that builds, repairs, converts and maintains inland waterway vessels, with a particular specialisation in jumbo-type barges, push tugs and small boats. Its facility includes more than 5,600 m² of covered industrial halls, a 21,000 m² private basin, a haul-out ramp able to lift vessels up to 1,000 tonnes, and dedicated steel cutting, prefabrication, mechanical, blasting and painting shops. An in-house engineering office of naval and mechanical engineers handles basic and detail design, CFD resistance predictions and finite element structural calculations, supported by proprietary shipbuilding management software. The yard is located at Lima, Zárate, Buenos Aires Province, on the Paraná river Hidrovía, with a central office in Ringuelet, La Plata.

Astillero Río Paraná Sur is a river shipyard on the Paraná waterway in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Founded less than a decade ago on an initiative by engineer Daniel De Monte, it builds, repairs, converts, maintains and designs inland waterway vessels for clients in the local and international Hidrovía market. The company operates a multidisciplinary technical department of naval engineers, naval architects, mechanical engineers, technicians, designers and draughtsmen.
