Everllence has won a contract to supply 16 high-speed 175D gensets for four Rampage 6000-DE offshore terminal tugs under construction at a Turkish shipyard. The vessels, designed by Robert Allan Ltd., will operate for Smit Lamnalco in Guyana supporting FPSO work in the Stabroek Block.

Great Lakes Towing Company has bought the 270-by-80-foot fully enclosed deck barge Crimson Clover from Crimson Shipping Company of Chickasaw, Alabama. It will charter the barge to Great Lakes East, LLC, a new operating company that plans a domestic and international marine transport service from Fernandina Beach, Florida, with maiden voyage bookings open for a June 19 departure.
