Contships Logistics has launched a Chinese newbuilding programme for up to 30 feeder container ships through its subsidiary CLC Newbuildings. The first tranche covers 10 confirmed 1,300 teu vessels at Hubei Guangji Green Energy Shipbuilding Group, with two further batches of 10 options each.
Marseille-based liner Marfret has ordered two 480 teu feeder containerships from Hubei Guangji Green Energy Shipbuilding in China. Pricing and delivery dates were not disclosed. The ships will be designed by SDARI, classed by Bureau Veritas and fitted with propulsion equipment from CSSC Power's Zhenjiang operation.
Brullo Shipping Group has ordered three 40,800 dwt oil and chemical tankers from Anhui Shipyard in China. Delivery of the vessels is scheduled for 2029, and the deal covers a design from SDARI adapted by Brullo’s technical team.
