PIRIOU has delivered the wind-powered cargo ship Atlantis to NEWTOWT, the French shipping company formed after the takeover of TOWT. The handover makes Atlantis the third sailing vessel in the fleet and the first delivered to the new shipowner.
The yard’s Vietnam shipyard delivered the vessel after it left in early August. Atlantis joins Anémos and Artémis, both handed over by PIRIOU in 2024 as part of the Phénix class.
The ship is currently stopping at Le Port in Reunion Island, at Quay 8 opposite the new TITAN dock.
